Dr. Dong Zhou is currently a professor affiliated with School of Information Science and Technology, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He is a Ph.D./Master Student Supervisor, Young "Furong" Scholar of Hunan Province, Young Backbone Teacher of Hunan Province (the evaluation result is excellent), Xiangtan High-level talent, "Xiangjiang Scholars" Distinguished Professor (overseas Ph.D.) of Hunan University of Science and Technology, "Yunshan" Outstanding Scholar of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
He received his M.Sc. degree from the University of York, UK, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Nottingham, UK. From 2008 to 2012, he was a Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science and Statistics, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He has published more than 100 papers in well-known international journals and conferences including IEEE TKDE、IEEE TAI、ACM Computing Surveys、ACM TALIP and IJCAI, CIKM, EMNLP, COLING, etc.
